AN INVITATION TO MEET "MES" ON 14 NOVEMBER IN PE

We will soon be privileged to welcome MES (Metro Evangelical Services), currently a Johannesburg-based welfare agency, to Port Elizabeth. MES is well-known for their ability to unite various agencies and church-based initiatives in a common approach to heal society and to care for the destitute. They enjoy the trust of the government sector and are well subsidised.

Their knowledge and expertise will make a huge difference in PE. We need a city-wide evangelical approach which is non-denominational and with proven capacity.

MES is a registered non-profit organisation that has been serving the homeless and destitute community in the city of Johannesburg for the past 22 years. Their vision is "To change the heart of the city".

MES is in the process of expanding it's services to Port Elizabeth. Johan Krige, the CEO of MES will be visiting Port Elizabeth on Friday 14th November 2008. All interested parties are invited to attend an information session at the Upper Room Coffee Shop at the corner of Clyde and Rose Streets in Central. The meeting will start at 07:15 and breakfasts (of between R6 and R20) can be ordered.
