Worship

The workshops:
The live worship band will demonstrate important concepts such as:
 • mapping out a song
 • improving your timing
 • thinking like an arranger
 • band dynamics and tempo
 • creating an atmosphere of worship
The Friday evening of Worship also includes an Open Sound Check.
The leaders and the Band with the audio tech team will demonstrate how to do a proper sound check. Please feel free to join us for this optional session.

Drum workshop
This workshop will cover the spiritual aspects of being a servant and leader, on the drums. He covers set-up, tuning, groove and fill
development, flowing with any leader, ministering to the people, and more.

Arranging workshop
This workshop will demonstrate how you can create parts that complement rather than compete with what guitarists are playing. Emphasis will be placed on developing a broader sonic palette, using pad sounds, string sounds, organ, and electric piano rather than simply using a grand piano sound.
Electric Guitar workshop
This workshop will cover several topics for the electric guitarist. Rob will demonstrate his pedal board set-up, how to create specific sounds, address power chords, scales, part ideas, playing in a band, and much more.
Bass Guitar workshop
Has your bass been set up? Andrew Warneke will exhibit the adjustments that should be made to every bass guitar to make sure it plays as well as it should. He follows by explaining concepts such as scales and explains how the bass player can best support the worship leader and the band.
Sound workshop
Every church building is unique and mixing sound for worship music requires a unique approach. The speakers will explain what to look and listen for, identify audio problems, resolve stage volume issues, etc., and provide you with the tools you need to get the best possible sound in your facility.
Prophetic Song workshop
The leaders will co-teach a class on songwriting and worship. Learn to hear "The song of the Lord" and how to craft it for others to sing easily. They will cover topics like recognizing tones, chords, and rhythms that help you feel the message, gaining the listeners attention quickly, and other principles to make your songs memorable.
Dance workshop
This workshop includes: Dancing the Scriptures, it would touch on all aspects of dance including flags, banners, tambourines, sign language, worship, Jewish, billows, ribbons, candles and ministry. On Saturday a session on Children's ministry, teaching a few flag dances, and one to be done to the congregation. Also the making of banners etc. and flags.
