Prophesy for Africa - Dutch Sheets Dear Saints I've transcribed the prophecy below from a video tape. Be blessed as you read it, and meditate on it This is a serious matter. Eben Swart Dutch Sheets (Port Elizabeth, 06/02/2003) I heard the Lord say: I'm giving South Africa one more chance to move into her destiny. It has been my plan that this nation be a model for the nations of the earth of what I can do. So I have a great desire, the Lord says, to heal you, to heal your history, and to bring you to a new place where I can begin to move by my Spirit out from this place over this nation. I want to heal this nation. I want to bring wholeness. And I want a wave of a different kind of a revolution to begin to come from this land. I want it to be life. I want it to be righteousness. I want it to be wholeness and I want it to be harmony. And I'm asking this nation to go to another level, the Lord says. I am asking you to go to another place. I'm asking you to go beyond even what you would want for your own individual life and fellowship .I'm asking this land to go to a place that you would allow me to make it a nation that models something for the earth. And if you would let me do that, I would rebuild the ancient ruins and the age-old foundations - that which I planned from old I would begin to do. And I would take you to that place where revival would begin to spring forth from here that would sweep the continent of Africa - and the eyes of the world would see what I could do with a nation that turns to me. For is it not written in my Word, "Can a nation be born in a day?" and "When Zion travails she brought forth her sons and daughters"? And I say to you: This is the day that I am asking you to travail for the soul of a nation! And I'm asking you to join me as I war over this land. For I'm going to do, the Lord says, what many do not believe that I can do. I am going to what you sang - I am going to save Africa. I am going to bring a sweeping move of my Spirit that heals and restores. I am going to tear down century-old strongholds. And I am going to remove the mixture from my church and my people first. And then I am going to begin to deal with the strongholds that have been implanted in the soil of this land for generations. Because I will do what I said I would do! That is why I am going to remove the mixture from this place. And just as it was exported - the idolatry and religious mixture was even exported from here to other nations of the earth - I am going to begin then to export my life from this land into the nations of the earth, into the islands of the sea. And I am going to unlock the strongholds of voodoo and witchcraft that have permeated even other lands from this continent, says the Lord. So you wonder why I won't let you go home. And you wonder why I have said to you NO, you can't do this, you can't do that. And even in meetings like this why I say to you STOP! STOP! We have something else to do! It is because I have a higher plan, the Lord says. It is because I will not allow it in this season to be about your need only, or your church only, or your fellowship only. A prophecy received by Revd. Jerome Dempsey  19/4/2002  12.55pm Why do people not trust me? Why is the world against my people? For they are sinners saith the Lord, and they perish. They know me not, neither do they follow my ways but they follow after their own lusts and false gods and false things. They lust after them and therefore they perish. But my people shall I save, my people shall have a home forever. I have just been in morning prayer before work with my ex-SA prayer partner, and believe that the Lord has given me the following word, which I also believe He has asked me to send to you - you will know what to do with it. Gill Burrows 22 February 2002 Sydney, Australia "The armies of heaven are massing, massing for the war for Africa. Who will win the war, who will be victorious? All in Africa whose eyes are turned towards the Lord will have his hand of protection on them. Though they stumble they will not fall. (I could see Africa, and thousands of tiny yellow lights which I knew were the Christians, and the Lord was over Africa and His hand was upon all the Christians who were shining out of a very dark landscape, they were reaching their hands out to Him. The armies of the enemy and the armies of Heaven were huge and covering over the shores, not over Africa yet but looking in from the shores all around the continent, they were so concentrated that it was difficult to see into the land, only the tiny lights were visible) Huge spiritual armies are massing on the shores of Africa - oh Lord let your light shine in Africa, let your light shine and light the dark, let no unclean thing survive this war. Let the armies of Heaven have the victory - oh pray people of the Lord - the armies are massing. Remember the Israelites - remember Joshua - remember Gideon, remember the mighty hand of the Lord, how he used a remnant to scatter the enemy, a remnant of an army, a remnant of a people, a remnant of a church. . . No, it is for My purpose, for My glory, for My kingdom victory! All across the world there are people from Africa, pray oh Africa for your land!! Feel the call of freedom, feel the call out of slavery, feel the call to move from darkness into light - release the power of Africa in Jesus name! Feel the heartbeat - whose is it anyway? It is mine claims the Lord! I am the heart of Africa, I am the pulse of Africa, recognise me now or perish!"

There is much to be said about Compromise.  As I meditated about it more words pertaining to it came into my spirit.  I will endeavor to put on paper what I feel the Holy Spirit is saying to us for this coming year. A prophetic call to the Church From Pastor Mandy Wessels, Eastcoast Christian Centre I am more and more concerned when I see the New Age and Occult creeping into the lives of Christians and even the church. Movies, books, TV programmes, - the list goes on. I hear Christians say, "but its only a story, or a fantasy, or it is only make believe!" I am speaking about living our lives in ignorance about the Word of God. The Bible says that: "My people perish from a lack of knowledge." And this is so. Because we have no understanding of the Word of God, we get ourselves into a place of bondage and we bring curses upon our lives, or homes, our businesses, because of our ignorance. Instead, take this sober warning to heart: "When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who: * practices witchcraft * is a soothsayer or a sorcerer * interprets omens * conjures spells * is a medium or a spiritist * calls up the dead "For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.." To all the Pastors and Church Leaders in the Nelson Mandela Metropole PROPHECIES RECEIVED, AND RECOMMENDED ACTION Dear Brethren, Greetings to you all in Jesus' Name. For those of you who don't know me, I am an Anglican pastor who, for the past two years, has been exercising what is for me a new ministry as full-time Facilitator of church unity here in Uitenhage. I was called to this ministry through our Ministers Fraternal in Uitenhage and I am finding the work both fulfilling and challenging. By way of introduction to the article I am writing, I have been struck by some very strong and repetitive themes coming through in various prophecies received during the past two or three years. These prophecies concern the Church in the Metropole, i.e. all of us who are part of the Body of Christ in Port Elizabeth, Despatch, Uitenhage and elsewhere in the Eastern Cape. As I have reread these prophecies, I have become excited about what the Lord is doing in our Metropole, and even more about what He intends to do in and through us all. Let me say at the outset that this article is basically a setting out of prophecies and signs received. The recommendations I make at the end are purely my own, so I ask here, as I will again at the end of this article, that you pray through it all and hear what the Lord may be saying about it to you and your congregation. The layout of the prophecies will be, as far as I can determine, in chronological order and in the original format. All of them were confirmed at the time they were received by "the others" present: "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said." 1 Cor 14:20 (NIV). Some of them include signs prophesied as well. Where these signs have come to pass, and where prophecies have been, or are being fulfilled, I will mention it as well. Revd. IMAGINE .... A community where all the jails have been closed due to lack of crime... A community where nearly all the bars have been turned into churches... A community where 92% of the population are committed Christians... A community where 60 000 Christians fill up an athletics stadium to pray and worship every 90 days... The video Transformations, seen by many a church in Port Elizabeth and beyond has brought a special blessing to the city. "As the church at Port Elizabeth prays in unity, so will the community be transformed" This is the heart of the Beyond 2000 - Community Transformation Consultation which will be taking place in Port Elizabeth from 8th to 11th November 2000  .... Focus of Prayer - 24 Hour Worship .... (posted 24 July 2000) For a kingdom focus to be established in our hearts. That we will realize that it is not about building our church where we fellowship but building the Kingdom of God which includes all of us who are born-again. Mistrust between churches to be broken down. Christians can often be very critical of other churches and especially those in different denominations. The motives are other churches are sometimes questioned. Healing and forgiveness to take place between churches. That there will restorations between people who have hurt, and have been hurt by churches. Churches need to forgive each other if there has been things which has pushed them apart. That the spirit of selfishness will be broken. We can be so inward looking as people and as churches. We always want what is best for us. What will we gain from this? How will we benefit? But what is best for me may not be best for the Kingdom of God and may not benefit the Kingdom of God. That gossip will not take any place. This is probably the number one cause of division between churches, within churches and between people. Misunderstandings and misinterpretations of each other’s actions leads to a barrier being put up between each other and often leads to gossip. Repentance. In order to be intimate with God we need to repent of wrongs committed against Him and the people around us. Anger, hatred, unforgiveness will stand in the way of intimacy with God. We will never be able to grow in our relationship with God or with each other if we leave these things in our hearts.
