Youth Ministry
A ministry has been establish “ Restoration Youth Aflame”
under the leadership of a young man, Pastor Simpewe. House of
Restoration Ministries is providing free accommodation at the moment
and will also contribute an amount of R150.00 per month towards his
daily expenses. Members of the ministry provide meals on rotation
basis. I believe ‘where there is a
vision there will be provision’. Membership is
currently on 10 and another 20 young people needs to be followed up
whom recently gave their heart to the lord. They are not yet
integrated into the youth structure. Youth meetings is on Friday
evenings starting at 18H00 hours. All youth members has recently
under go training in basic counselling of new converts, conduct by
Simpewe. I am really looking forward to the expansion of our youth.
The Ministry Leadership is in agreement that we need to make
available whatever resources we got to build this exciting new venture.
Children’s Ministry
This department of the church is very active and successful in what
they do and consist of 6 trained teachers and have a total of 50 kids
in the children’s church. Two of our Teachers have just recently
undergone a successful Instructors Training Program.
We are reaching about 120 kids per week with the gospel of Jesus
Christ, with the additional two teachers this number can and must
increase significant in the coming months. |
