Christians for Biblical Equality is an international non-profit organisation of Christian men and women who believe that the Bible, properly interpreted, teaches the fundamental equality of men and women of all racial and ethnic groups, all economic classes, and all age groups, based on the teachings of scripture as reflected in Galatians 3:28. Some of the persons, amongst others, endorsing Christians for Biblical Equality (Click here for website) are Dr Gilbert Bilezikian, Tony Campolo, Gordon Fee, Richard Foster, Revd Dr Stanley J. Grenz, J. Lee Grady, and Revd Dr LaDonna Osborn. A number of bible studies are available and presented by Ethel Pittaway in Port Elizabeth, viz. Great Africans in the Bible, Reclaiming Oneness in Marriage, Breaking down the Walls (for youth) and Biblical Equality. The studies are offered free of charge. Ethel is also the chairperson of the Sexism/Racism Working Groups of the Nelson Mandela Bay:Transformation Christian Network Mission Initiative co-ordinated by Trevor Jennings and Mvusi Gwam.
