He who knew no sin
Two Corinthians 5 v 21 says; God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Jesus became your sin so that you could become the righteousness of God. You see God dealt with Jesus according to your sin and He deals with you according to Jesus righteousness. It is wonderful to know that God does not treat us as our sins deserve. He deals with us according to His mercy, the word mercy means God is treating you better than you deserve. God dealt with Jesus according to what you deserve so that he could treat you better than you deserve.
Psalm 103 v 10-12 says; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Thats the gospel, its because of this exchange that we can expect all the benefits of Gods provision. It is not because of what we have done, its because of what He has done for us.
