"From the heart" - Update from the Trzos (Missionaries in Peru)

Hi There, Precious Friends and Family,
Greetings in the Great Name of Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour,

Amos. 4v13. He who forms the mountains, creates the winds and reveals His thoughts to Man, He who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth, THE LORD ALMIGHTY IS HIS NAME.

We serve a Great and Mighty God who is true to all He says and promises. In all my years of knowing such a great and wonderful FATHER. He is TRUE to His Word.

Joshua 1 has been in my Heart since I left P.E. He has PROMISED to be with us to keep us from all harm and to go before us But we need to stay close beside HIM v 8 says DO NOT let this book depart from you mouth, meditate upon it DAY and NIGHT so that you may be CAREFUL, then you will be prosperous in successful and The LORD your God will be with you ALWAYS:

FAITHFULNESS and OBEDIENCE is what God requires. I Thank the Lord for you as HE has chosen YOU to fulfil v 14 With out the FIGHTING MEN we would have been swept away by the enemy, by perhaps Earthquakes or even buses going down cliffs before being able to take possession of MOROCHUCO LAND.

Now for an update on what has happed to me recently, Last week I attended The Ladies Conference at Runa Simi in Chosica.I left on Tuesday by bus to Lima then to Chosica in another bus which is approx, 11hrs of driving in 2 different buses then its the same way back again. The Conference was a real Blessing to all, mostly for Quechua speaking people, But it was given in Spanish as well with translators from Spanish into Quechua. The materials were in both languages, these ladies as well as myself all attended the Alphabet Seccion where Quechua people are taught to read and write (Literacy) from the Runa Simi workers.

It was a 4 day Conference, I arrived back on Sunday morning at about 7.am.in time for our 8 o'clock prayer meeting as well as being in time for German kartoffle puffer, German pancake which those invited for our prayer breakfast enjoyed, then for me it was quite an hectic week as it was back to cleaning up and having the Finland Missionaries around for lunch before they leave to Cusco then to Finland. But it has not stopped since, as I now have had 3 pastors and the son of the one plus an American from the states in our home some staying, some leaving. I have been quite busy but enjoying them besides going to school and the church

We need your prayers and value your every support, you remain close to our hearts.

We LOVE you LOTS. Yours in His Special Name.
Elaine

Today's technology can be a great blessing, as it was with the wonderful MP3 phone message from our friend Tobie (Missionary in Japan) to Bless the Nations South Africa. Thank you Alastair for making it possible to hear it on the computer. We totally agree with him that the most important peoples are You; the ones who are praying, giving, supporting, etc. World Missions. Without You - we would be ineffective!

Yet the mentioning of us, as sacrificing & suffering examples are a little too much. Serving in a third world country, I believe is much easier than being a missionary in one of those wealthy nations. Back in 1998 as Danie and I walked 3 days up the Andes (information's trip), it was becoming so tough that every step became a prayer. Yet it was the most blessed time I ever experienced and the nearest I have ever been to God! God sent even angels down from heaven and carried Danie's backpack at one stage! Why does that happened to us?? Because there was no other option!! It was "EL Niño" time and no transport available. How different would it be in the western world with its many options.

People of third world countries seem to be more dedicated & loyal to God in the midst of suffering & hardship than we westerners where very little is challenging our walk with God. But take off the limitations in giving them prosperity, the majority will soon be acting like the rest of us. Not hardship, starvation, depravity etc.- but in prosperity it is far more difficult to withstand, as the evil one attacks our loyalty towards God. Not lack, - but wealth is more of a problem for most of us! Yes - it is sometimes hard & difficult!! Yes it is sometimes depressing & painful!! Yet the knowledge and experience of the sustaining power of our Lord & Saviour far outweighs any discomfort.

Therefore the bringing of our supporters before the throne of grace is of utmost importance. Praise God for every Supporter who didn't crumble under the weight of temptations.

What am I writing here? This suppose to be a newsletter! Please forgive me as my heart got carried away a little. But then: What are friends and family for!!??

May God bless you all richly and sustain you till He comes
Love Herbie, Elaine & Jonathan.
