GOD HEALS - A TESTIMONY
"I, The Lord God Have Heard Your Prayer and Seen Your Tears. Behold I Will Heal Thee." II Kings 20: 5
My name is Yvonne Van Gass. This is my testimony of total healing the Lord Blessed me with on the 18th July 2002 at the Church (Port Alfred Christian Church). I'm 62 years old, an Insulin dependant Diabetic & have faced 2 Breast Cancer attacks. First in 1994 Left Breast only. Went through a grueling & painful 6 weeks Chemotherapy, 3 months later a glorious all clear report brought Hope back into my life & stayed that way for 5 years.
Moved to Port Alfred in 1998 my next check-up June 1999 it was back, bigger than before. This time both breast & adjacent glands, back to 6 weeks painful chemo, 3 months later my world fell apart it didn't work!! I was told I had no other options, it has to be a total mastectomy & that as a diabetic my post operative healing would be slow & painful. I knew I would have no hope or quality of life after that.
I said I am going home to pray to my Heavenly Father & ask him for guidance as to what I should do, Watched (T.B.N.) for 9hrs, every day. Prayed with every Pastor on T.B.N. & believed to put my trust in My Father. (No Mastectomy.) I would rather have whatever quality time I had in Gods presence & if I was to go home to be with Him, so be it, I had total peace that I'd made the right choice.
In April 2000, I was led to try a new treatment. Known as, "Electro-Magnetic Rays". These Electro Magnetic Fields are passed over you to balance the Yen & Yang in your body. You also wear strong magnets on your body, eat only certain foods & detox every six weeks. This treatment can only keep the cancer cells in your body in remission, it is not a cure. The pain was yours to bear!! I could not wear a bra - walked around with hot water bottles strapped to my body front and back. Cried in pain on bumpy roads for 2 years.
This was when I met "Dot" who became the prayer and hope giving Angel I met on the road to Damascus. We bonded in a deep spiritual, friendship, her little notes of upliftment & prayer sure carried me along.
May this year I started to rapidly decline & knew that I was losing the fight, I was defeated. I clung even stronger to my T.B.N. pastors in prayer. I think I hold the record for the sinner's prayer. I knew I had to get my house in order & sort out all that needed to be done. I even have my funeral plans in order along with my funeral service programme with the Hymn's & Scripture I want read at my service.
My husband, children & grandchildren along with my Damascus Angel all stood helpless beside me.
Then Dot found this God Sent Church & brought me along in July. After the service I went up for prayer. Pastor Jenny prayed for me & said I was to come & see her at her office on the 18th of July. This precious, anointed, faithful servant of our Lord, spoke to me for over an hour. Then she asked Dot & I to agree with her in the Holy Spirit, that this evil spirit of Cancer to leave my body in Jesus name, that is all I can remember, my body & mind went numb & cold. I became so cold that my whole body felt frozen to the bone. I was only aware of a soft gentle voice that kept saying "Just be still, it is done." I wept tears that seemed to be tearing out of my heart & kept it up for the next 3 days.
I knew & I felt it right away that my Lord, my Saviour, my redeemer & healer Jesus Christ the Messiah had just healed me in total #100% DONE. Praise GOD!!
My reason for placing my testimony in writing to you, is to prove to anyone facing what I did in that dark pit of hell. Jesus is your only answer & hope, he is true to his word.
I also know that in this church, Jesus is King.
I pray the Lords blessing will always flow to overflowing in this house of the Lord, it is true you, "love extravagantly."
Thank-You Pastor Jenny for being his faithful servant along with all the Lords other loving faithful servants, who serve at this precious Church.
