THE VISION GOD GAVE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
The principle of the abovementioned school, Mrs Desire Bradley, started seven years ago with a dream. She started with ten children in pre-school. Today there are children in the school from the age of 3 years to senior High School. For years we have been renting a church building. The church can accommodate about 95 children. At the moment there is 121 children in the school. New children are currently on a waiting list. We just don't have space for them. Currently we don't even have space for the children for sport. We don't have a hall for the school. We don't have proper office space and we don't have any storage space.
Last night the principal shared her vision with the parents. She started off by telling everybody what happened last year. She herself, the teachers and parents have been praying the prayer of Jabez. The principal and some teachers were fasting last year and praying every day for ground to build a school on. October last year she went up to Pretoria and met with a woman of God. She shared her vision with this lady whom she's never seen before. The lady started drawing as Desire was busy talking to her. The lady drew a picture of an old farm house. She told Desire that the Lord showed her that the ground they have to purchase has a house on that looks like the picture she drew and that there is a lot of sand on this ground. Funds would come out of businesses on this ground for the school. She told Desire to forget about the ground we've been praying for and purchase this ground, because the Lord's plan for the school is much bigger than ever imagined.
Desire came back to Uitenhage and started searching for this farm. After days of searching she started riding in a direction she felt led to do. She got to a farm house that looked like the picture and she asked the people if the farm was for sale. They said yes, but unfortunately someone had already put an offer in of three million rand. Desire told the owner that she would like to purchase the farm to build a school on it. The owner told her that the farm has a lot of potential on it. A brick making business could be started and there is a quarry that would bring in a lot of money. This farm is very very big and it is beautiful. There are two rivers that come together on the farm. Water would never be a problem and the potential is neverending.
Desire said she went to fetch her husband and showed him the ground and also the teachers. She told them that the moment she saw it she knew that the Lord wanted her to purchase this farm for the school.
On the 29th March 2004 the owner of the farm came to see Desire at school and told her that the deal did not go through and that he would like to give the school the first option to purchase the ground We need to start building the school immediately.
