TRUE LOVE WAITS AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES

About 250,000 cards have been shipped to Athens for a major Abstinence event on 22 August.

The celebration event will take place in a beautiful outdoor theater almost in the shadow of the Acropolis. (see more about the venue at: www.grdance.org)

True Love Waits (South Africa) will join with countries around the world in celebrating the 10th anniversary of TLW which is the largest abstinence programme in the world.

Commitment cards, from all round the world, will be on display at the event. Speakers include Richard Ross and Jimmy Hester (founders of TLW) and Carl Lewis (winner of 9 Olympic gold medals). The event will be taped and available for download on the internet on www.truelovewaits.org.za following the programme.

South Africa has sent a quarter of a million of its 330,000 cards (which is the largest number of signed pledge cards outside of the USA) to demonstrate the fact that, in our country, abstinence is increasingly recognised as the solution to AIDS, STI's and other problems which are connected to sex before marriage. Abstinence is in. So join the crowd - or be left behind.
