REPORT BACK FROM NEW SONG FESTIVAL
Dear Festivalgoer-type-person
Hope you are all refreshed and revitalised after the festival - I went pretty much straight from the festival (after a day or two in Somerset West) to a pastors conference in Gariep, Free State and then two hours after getting back from that to a camp to speak for the weekend and I will be speaking at another one next weekend - so apart from all that, an assignment I have to do, and 150 plus emails to reply to I am alive and kicking... (after October life slows down a bit for me so don't feel too concerned...)
There are a couple of things I wanted to share with you - firstly there is a GREAT deal I managed to secure with Sarepta on the Casting Crowns cd (that song I used in my talk if you were there) - due to the overwhelming sales of the cd already since the festival I was able to do a bit of arm-twisting and Sarepta have graciously offered us this deal and seriously if you don't have one of these I encourage you to get it because it is awesome!!!!

Secondly, we are hoping to update the Newsong website with pics and testimonies/stories/feedback of how you found the festival this year and especially any stories of what God did in your life at Newsong 2004: For the Least of these... and so please send them in - easiest is probably for feedback/stories etc to come to me at and any pics to go to - thankx for that!
Also make sure you check out next Today magazine because it will have a write up of the festival and rumours are that 'bloody face moshpit boy' and the mysterious Kate may get a mention there... (speaking of the mysterious Kate, if you are wanting her to be a little less mysterious then go to my site at www.brettfish.com and click on any of the "20's" in the 2004's that appear in the writing around the main page and wait a short while... also a good site for Jack Handy humour and other exciting links (No_bob's web page is www.brettfish.com/Nobob for those who haven't been there yet)
Thirdly, apparently there have been a couple of issues with a very small number of the cds (which were probably the extra ones we had made to ensure everyone could get one - if you haven't yet get hold of me and maybe we can still make a plan) and so if your cd gave any issues please let me know so we can try and sort it out...
Lastly I send out a weekly Christian email challenge newsletter called 'Thort for the Week' which you can subscribe to from my web page if you are interested - but just to let you know I will be sending you a once-off invite to receive those if you would like to - if interested all you have to do is reply to it and if not then simply delete it...
Well, that's about it - hope you are styling and living out the challenges God presented to you at the festival, if you were paying attention, and keeping an eye out for the least of these... continue to be Faithful In Serving Him (FISH) in all you do and let's with God turn this country on it's head (in a good way!)
