Mighty Men Conference 2008 - When you feel, flat change the wheel

Hi, my name is John Rodwell.

I am from Jeffreys Bay and I was at the Mighty Mens Conference 2008.

We left Jeffreys Bay on Friday at 04h00 on 18th April 2008 to be in time for the 19h00 service on the Shalom Farm near Greytown.  On the way our trailer tyre burst just 40km before Grahamstown and we had no spare wheel.  We left 6 men at the trailer and drove to Grahamstown at 06h00 looking for a tyre. No places were open. We met a Christian who helped us with a spare wheel.   We took the wheel back to the trailer another 40km then back to Grahamstown to buy a new tyre another 40 km.  The trailer was from a pastor who had no spare wheel.

We had so much traffic ahead of us it took hours to travel 10 km.  We arrived at 21h00 on Friday night, 5 minutes before the end of the srevice

The next day we had another flat wheel (no 2) on the combi - this was on Saturday on our way to the service.

We had revival at every service. I cried  as Angus (Buchan) shared his testimony the whole service.  The Holy Spirit is so gentle and so kind - God has favour on this man.

Christ in us the Hope of glory.
God is so good.

The Sunday on our way to Jeffrey's Bay we had another flat wheel (no 3) on the combi near Howick.

When we got to Umtata we saw an African lady with a flat wheel.  The Lord said help her so we turned the combi around and drove back to the lady. We stopped and helped her change the wheel.  We were so good at changing wheels it took us 4 minutes to change the wheel she was so happy (wheel no 4)

Nothing could stop us to go and worship the Lord on evangelist Angus Buchan's farm.  Every time we had a flat wheel we prayed and gave thanks to the Lord for keeping us safe on the road.

I can tell you my life will never be the same again - Jesus is changing South Africa -  we give Him all the glory.

When you feel, flat change the wheel.  Make prayer your steering wheel and not your spare wheel.

Please read Mark 11: 22  -  please go to the next Mighty Mens conference.

Thanks to the team who worked so hard to restore the church and the family of God

Be blessed - we love you.
