Radio Kingfisher licence refused

As you all probably know by now, the Independant Broadcasting Authority (IBA) has refused to grant Radio Kingfisher in PE and Link FM in East London our licence to broadcast. We do not as yet know the reasons for the refusals, but I would like to call on all Christians to unite in support of these two radio stations, as for many people, this is their only link to the word of God. After all, who do we have to answer to ultimately - to the authority of this world or to God. I would rather face persecution here on earth than have to hang my head in shame before God.

Although we have had our criticisms and we have our faults, at Radio Kingfisher I feel that, as the Jewish council had to decide about the disciples - If what we do comes from God, nothing will stop us ultimately, and if what we are doing is not God's will, then our efforts will fade out of their own accord. SO - all we can do is to trust in God. If we have to close down it will mean the loss of jobs for 17 full time staff members who have often sacrificed opportunities and other work to work at RKf.

Pray for us and also send us your letters, faxes and e-mails of support.

Thank you
