A prophetic call to the Church

I am more and more concerned when I see the New
Age and Occult creeping into the lives of Christians and even the
church. Movies, books, TV programmes, - the list goes on.
I hear Christians say, "but its only a
story, or a fantasy, or it is only make believe!" I am speaking
about living our lives in ignorance about the Word of God. The Bible
says that: "My people perish from a lack of knowledge." And
this is so. Because we have no understanding of the Word of God, we
get ourselves into a place of bondage and we bring curses upon our
lives, or homes, our businesses, because of our ignorance.
Instead, take this sober warning to heart:
"When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving
you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations.
There shall not be found among you anyone who: * practices witchcraft
* is a soothsayer or a sorcerer * interprets omens * conjures spells
* is a medium or a spiritist * calls up the dead "For all who do
these things are an abomination to the Lord.." (Deuteronomy 18:9-13)
God has not changed. The Scripture says that
"there shall not be found even among you..." That means not
just the "bad guys'' as we generally see it, but also anything
that contains or pertains to the abominations mentioned in the above
Scripture. An example is the Harry Potter series that is full of
"all these things" that are an abomination to the Lord.
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Master. Surely then, the very least we
can do is obey His Word? What has light to do with darkness? Why are
children of God allowing themselves to be seduced and drawn into
partaking of things that are an abomination to God?
We bring into our homes "accursed"
objects, books, videos full of the occult... and we wonder why we
battle to hear from God. We wonder why our quiet times suffer, why we
no longer walk in victory, why the Christian life seems so hard and a
continual striving. Maybe your children have become angry and
rebellious, or you and your spouse are just continually hurting each
other....or financially you are battling no matter how much you tithe
and give... Wake Up! See what you are allowing into your lives.
Just because something has a good moral value
story where good wins over evil.... does not mean that it is of God.
The CS Lewis books on the Narnia series( The Lion the Witch and The
Wardrobe) is a prime example. Look up on the internet....See how the
books are a direct invitation into the occult.. Funny how they are
not only stocked in Christian Bookshops, but also in Satanic shops
all over the world. Take time to really find out about the authors of
the books, not what they profess, but what they were involved in,
what blend of Eastern Taoism was blended with Christianity.
Christians, God has given us minds that we can think.... The bible
says, "God has not given to us a spirit of fear, but of power
and of love and a SOUND MIND" Do not become passive and accept
everything you see and hear. Think... read what The Word Actually
says concerning a subject and then choose to obey what Jesus says.
Remember we are not fighting a fight of flesh and
blood, but a spiritual battle. Investigate what is behind something,
before just accepting it. Its so easy not to stand up for
righteousness sake, because we are so scared we will offend someone.
Well, you should be more scared of offending The King of Kings, The
Creator, Jesus Christ the Saviour and Lord, than of offending man.
What is more important? Satisfying your flesh or being obedient to Him?
Rise Up church. Take your place as a pure and
holy bride, uncontaminated and defiled from the new age
"Christianity" we are seeing. God is a jealous God. He will
not share you with anyone else, especially not with things that are
an abomination to Him. Its just so logical, but unfortunately the god
of this world, satan has deceived so many into to thinking its
acceptable....and the Christians become full of defeat and never rise
up to fulfill their destiny in Christ!
I believe the Spirit of God is issuing a warning
to the Church.... do not compromise, do not compromise, do not
compromise! Count all things as dung for the sake of KNOWING HIM. He
gave His all, the least we can do is give our all, His way, not our
way. Pick up your cross and follow Him. He gives you so much joy and
satisfaction - life is so real with Him when we obey. His love and
blessings will just pour out on you and you will find His heart and
enjoy Him and taste Him and marvel at His awesome love. JESUS
CHRIST IS WORTH IT!
