CHRISTIAN ACTION AFRICA MINISTRIES
 WELCOME:
We
are a Christian family of 3, Anton, Zelda and little Althea Mostert,
and involved in fulltime missions in Africa. Our calling as a family
for missions to the African people started 7 years ago although Anton
has been in the missionfield for almost 14 years.
VISION
/ MISSION:
Our
Vision is to train and equip the people of a group/village to
evangelise and disciple their own people. Our aim is to give every
group/person the chance to come out from apathy and grow to their
full God-given potential and active participation in the body of
Christ. Millions of people in bondage are still waiting to hear and
understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
John
Wesley once said: You have only one task here on earth and that
is to win souls!
Hereby
we are inviting you to be part of the great commission, commanded by
our Lord Jesus Christ to go out and make disciples of all nations.
LEADERSHIP:
Dr.
Chris Jordaan is the Trustee of this ministry.
Anton
and Zelda Mostert the fieldworkers.
PROJECTS
Leadership-training:
The
booklet called: The Manifesto for Christians in Southern Africa are
used in this training sessions.
1-3
Day Seminars are held on this.
Discipleship
courses, which include churchplanting and evangelism are presented
to groups/ministries and churches.
Children
ministry
Our
aim is to start Children clubs in the area we are working to get as
many children to hear the Word of God and at the same time to reach
out to the parents through the children.
The
children clubs are presented with lots of love and fun activities
and as well to provide in the personal needs of the children for
example clothes and a soup kitchen etc. Puppetry are also used to
bring the Word of God in a practical way. Together with this we will
also be able to teach children how to have a positive selfimage, make
the right choices in life, make them aware of AIDS. We trust the Lord
that through this programme we will also reach the children in crisis
and need. The child is a very important link in the family circle and
are most precious to God. We would appreciate any kind of help in
this ministry.
Care
Bags
The
Care Bag project is there for anybody to get involve in and an easy
way to be part of missions. We also want to reach out to
underprivileged children al well as children in hospitals and felt
that we want to leave something encouraging behind for them whom we
have visited. We thought of a small Care bag for each child/youth
with different items in it depending on the age group and gender.
The
age groups will be:
-
baby to 2 years
-
3 to 12 years
-
13 to 18 years
We
trust the Lord for people who have a heart for children to help us
with this project by making the bags and then trust the Lord for
sponsors of the items that must be put in the bags. Donations will
also be welcome. Contact us for further details.
Community
Projects
Using
the video: God's Answer to AIDS we reach a lot of young people in
the communities and making them aware of the dangers of this deathly disease.
We
are also involve in literacy training to people who can't read or
write and at the same time encouraging people to help themselves and
improve their self-image.
