A CHARTER FOR MORAL COMMUNITIES - ADS FOR PROSTITUTION & DRUG PEDDLING Date: Friday, 14 March 2003 Well, I wonder how effective this is going to be?? But, be that as it may, the undermentioned suggestion is included and will hopefully go the full course and play a part in changing lives in the communities of this Country. Lord, let it be. The Herald has the monopoly in PE in so far as the dissemination of news and current affairs is concerned. Each City is I think in the same situation, so they can print what they like and also not print what they like. I have sent several e-mails to the editor voicing my unhappiness with the fact that they allow their personal columns to be used for the advancement of Prostitution and Drug Peddling! Prostitution being the Ladies who are offering "your place or mine"..."all nights"...."travel service" and they get more tackier..... Drug Peddling because I know of a well respected gentleman who (obviously wasn't such a gentleman) who called one of these ladies and before he knew it, he was addicted to Crack!!!! They act as go betweens for the Peddlers as well as help to break down the moral fibre of our society by just being there. If they were not allowed to advertise their smut in local newspapers, their pimps would have to fork out huge amounts of money to create their own advertorials. Sure, our Constitution allows us to make choices, but when we buy the daily newspaper which is the only newspaper, we should not have to be forced to see that kind of smut being advertised!!
