a) HAVE YOU HEARD ?
Have you heard about the Revivals going on in Florida, Fort Worth and other parts of the world? Too far away to seem real to you? Well, it is real and it is happening right here in these canyons. There is a real spiritual
movement going on right now. God is doing some real works in people's lives. There have been healings, miracles, anointings and gifts from God at the Jesus Church in Rio Frio. People from Leakey, Rio Frio, Uvalde, Utopia, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Eagle Pass and other surrounding areas have come to receive what God has come to give them.

God is really moving. He has really been doing some great works in our children here also. There are children praising and worshiping God like never before. There have been testimonies of people being healed of neck and back pain, asthma, and miraculous healings from acci-dents, and anointings in the Holy Spirit. There have been people receiving gifts of gold dust on their hands and also gifts of gold fillings from God.

I have personally experienced it and have received gifts of gold dust and gold fillings (some resembling the shape of a cross) from God, which I am very honored to have. God has really done a work in my life. He has taken away all the hurt, pain, and depression that I have been feeling over the last year or so. He has also restored my health, joy and meaning of life.And I truly praise Him for this. I would like to invite you all to come and experience Gods power and glory with us at the Jesus Church in Rio Frio on Friday and Saturday nights at 7p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. May God bless you.

b) OH THE GLORY!
We came back from the John Scotland meetings in Grande Prarie on Monday and the only word to describe the two days we were there is AWESOME . The Lord is setting HIS people free and HE is using a precious precious brother to do it . We are so thankful that John has bent his knee to the living God for the sake of others ( no man has greater love than he who would lay down his life ) John has done this and has indeed is " a sign and a wonder" .

Each of us came into a new freedom . The words the Lord gives him to speak are for the freedom of Gods people , free from sin and free to be who we were created to be ....HIS CHILDREN ! At the end of the meeting (before going to the local donut shop) I saw John coming out of the building and I remembered what he had said about getting all God had for us (being bold to go get it) and so I went up and touched his hands and said I want some of what he had (talking about the being drunk) and so I touched his hands , then John said that he (the pastor) had more of it and to rub his hands and so I did ...NOT realizing that it was gold dust !!!! I was not even knowing that was what they we having....: )

The fruits that follows what is happening with John is that people are falling more in love with JESUS !!! THAT IS A GOOD THING !!! The powerfull words he speaks hit the sin dead on and the love that covers them draws you close to the Lord.....Mission accomplished .... Praise the Living God, the only living God !!!

What the Lord spoke to me was that the mess left behind would be like a hippo in the garden , BUT it is the Lords Hippo and it is the Lords garden (these are words from James Ryle) but they are what the Lord reminded me of and I was blessed to be able to share them with John. I am , and we all are thankful for the truth to be finally spoken so that Gods people can be set free from sin, and dance again as David did. Each of us came into a freedom from some things that would not shake off without the love covering we received there........

c) MARIPOSA GOLD AND HEALINGS

A Spiritual Mother Lode in Gold Country?
A Report On Meetings Held July 9-11, 1999

Visitation or Habitation? -- There appears to be something wonderful happening in the small mountain town of Mariposa. Could it be a visitation that is becoming a habitation? The healing anointing was very strong during a recent 3 day meeting at Mariposa's Sierra Faith Center with Pastor Bob and his wife Sue Brasset. Bob is the Pastor of the Victoria B.C. Healing Team and has been traveling throughout Canada and the globe releasing a
fresh and powerful "healing anointing."

Higher Level: -- However, in Mariposa the anointing seemed to go to a higher level from the very beginning. Healings and gold dust began to happen in the prayer group prior to the first service. Bob said " the people seem to be exceptionally receptive. Sue and I feel an openness. We can feel that business (fasting, intercession and travail) has been done in the Spirit here." He said he kept hearing the word "Revival."

The Word Spread Quickly: -- The healings were so numerous and verifiable the first night that word quickly spread to Fresno and other valley towns. The next night the crowd increased dramatically, and so did the miracles. People literally had to sit outside the sanctuary and watch the service on an overflow TV. So many people were getting blessed that the meetings were extended another day. Even then, the day after the meetings were over, people were calling from other towns to see if we were continuing the meetings.

Many Healings Reported: -- The healings that were reported by the time the meetings had concluded were: Prostate cancer, arthritis, deafness, fibromyalgia, a shrunken tumor, scoliosis, tremors, nerve damage, degenerated discs, chronic fatigue, eyes healed, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), allergies, spinal disorders, dental miracles, and more. One lady was healed of arthritis in her hands in the prayer room prior to the service, and later, during the service, she received a gold filling. Another lady received four different healings in her body the first night and returned the next night to testify of their authenticity. She was totally free of the pain that had plagued her for over twenty years. Many of the healings were verifiable during the three days of meetings. Others were encouraged to seek medical confirmation.

d) THREE QUARTERS OF GOLD IS GOD
When I was a kid growing up in the 70's there was a poster with the slogan on it that said, "2/3 of God is GO!!" In the sense of what God's great commision is that is very true!!! We are living proof of that as we are some 10,000 miles away from home & family. Now that doesn't mean that everyone will need to go that far but the point is that we ALL need to GO with the love which God has given us & give it to those others whom he loves who "seem" unlovable!!! ie. the homeless, prostitues, drunkards, drug addicts, etc... And guess what, chances are that they may never darken the doors of a church!!! Especially many of the churches of today!!

I'm afraid we have strayed far, far, far afield of how the first church (the Acts church :-) was set up. Today, we are so into programs, budgets, committee meetings, numbers (people & dollars) that the relationships are hanging by a thread and that's just in the church never mind the "untouchables" whom Jesus hung out with ALL THE TIME!!!! It is time that we wake up to the fact that it is relationship, us with the Father, Jesus & the Holy Spirit and then what has been given to us with those outside of the church building & on the streets that is the true expression of what the church was intended to be!!

As we prepare to enter the new millenium I propose another slogan & that is, "3/4's of gold is GOD!!!" I'm not even going to begin to give ALL of the scriptures that speak of the purity & refining that this wave of gold fillings & gold dust refer to because some people may think that I'm pulling them out of context!!! I will share a personal story and if you choose to believe it, PRAISE GOD \\O// and if not just remember that a man with an experience is NEVER at the mercy of a man with an arguement!! My 7 1/2 year old son, Eric and my son Ryan, who is 6, were at a holiday/vacation Bible school here in Port Elizabeth!!! Last Thursday morning they had an awesome meeting, with the other children, IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD!!! There was laughter, some fell under the power of God and many were covered with gold dust!! When I heard of this experience I was so excited. I saw them later in the day AFTER they had spent time at the beach & had a bath!!! THE GOLD DUST WAS STILL ON THEIR PALMS!!!

Now if I, as a father, were to sit down & make a list of the top 10 things which I would want my children to accomplish, IN THEIR WHOLE LIVES, I doubt that being dusted with gold would have even made the list much less been #1 on it. But that's alright with me and I say, "Lord Jesus, you just do anything that you want to!!!" Now the gold dust was a physical manifestation so just think what God has done on the inside!!! \\O// The next day I went there to pick them up & spoke with another pastor of that church. He had commented about another child who had also been there & had come home all excited speaking of what happened and then promptly went off to play like what had happened was natural. His parents were a bit puzzled by that. As adults we would want to do something like never wash our hands again!! The pastor I was speaking with said that it was actually a positive thing because the children are being exposed to the supernatural at such a young age that it becomes natural to them!!

When those children grow up and walk down the street and their shadow falls on someone and they are healed.....it will be natural because that is how it is supposed to be. That my friends is the whole point: The supernatural to God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit is natural!!! We are to be as little children when it comes to the kingdom of God!!! It takes more energy to fight against what GOD IS DOING ALL OVER THE WORLD TODAY than to just submit, become as a little child and say, "Jesus, I believe that you can do anything in anyway that you want and I want more of you!!!"
