NEWSLETTER VOL 1. NR 1. MARCH 1999
Dear Brother in Christ,
My writing to you is firstly to show my appreciation for your support. I furthermore wish to provide a synopsis of the VICTORIES IN 1998 and the VISION IN 1999.
As you are aware our Goal at the Christian Coalition is not only evangelical , but also to ensure that the Christian Family Value System remains the cornerstone of our society and that the Godly perspective of Sanctity of Life is always protected and promoted.
In order to achieve this we have focused three key areas in society which we believe need to be influenced.
These areas are 1. Big Business. 2. Media. 3. Government.
In 1998 we had VICTORY in all these areas.
1. BIG BUSINESS:
We got Total service stations to remove all pornography from all their outlets nationally.
We got CNA to withdraw all Tarot Cards and Astrology packs. They also stopped advertising the Occult They also withdrew their pornography.
2. MEDIA :
We got Hunt Lascarus the withdraw the Nandos Chicken advertisements as they were not conducive to Christian Family Values. The press reported that Nandos "chickened" out.
3. GOVERNMENT :
We lobbied the political parties to adopt the principle that their members may vote on issues of morality according to their conscious. This is a 180 degree turnaround to them been " whipped " into line according to their party perspective. This is however a start . The ANC however still needs to capitulate.
We lobbied extensively on a National basis as well at Provincial level making inroads mobilising as well our brother Christians within the ANC on the issue of the proposed change of the definition of" Community " with regard to the proposed Broadcasting Bill. If the new definition was adopted, it would mean the closure of 62 Community Christian radio stations. Min Naidoo withdrew. ( Cartoon Attached. ) I must also mention that the whole process was one of concerted effort of many Christian Groups.
We mobilised with the Agricultural a stand on Crime and capped the phase while addressing masses on the steps of P.E. magistrates court. "Crime is not done by poverty, but crime is done by criminals." The motorcade in P.E. was so long ( 600 ) motor vehicles that it stretched over a distance of 6 km. The motorcade consisted of Tractors, trucks, bakkies , African Taxis and motorcars. When the last car left the Telkom Park Stadium , the first had already arrived at the Magistrates court.
We assisted the Christian's Unite Against Crime at Telkom park where 5000 Christian met for prayer fellowship.
GENERAL INFORMATION :
In November I went on a "Country Tour" to preach and enthuse the body to take their rightful place and be doers of the word and not only hearers - James 1:22.

RETREAT:
I was blessed at the beginning of January 1999 when Kevin Wakeford, Kenny Larkin and myself went to Carmel for a prayer retreat. The Spirit of God moved and we were all edified for the coming 1999.
CURRENTLY:
The South African Police Services want to close the OCCULT RELATED CRIME UNIT. ( This unit investigates crimes done by satanists i.e. muti murders etc ).This is headed up by Insp Jonker. We are opposing this and are lobbing at every level, I will keep you posted.
I am also in the process of communicating with Adjutant Commissioner Manuel on a process of adopting the Spiritual aspect of Policing within the South African Police services. My thoughts on this came after I did a deliverance on a man whom turned out was not only a Satanist, but also a Warlord. ( Warlords are the military wing of Druglords. They protect and take territory in order that the drug lord is able to ply his trade "peacefully".) This man used to get his assignments from Satan after a weekly Satanist meeting headed up by a high priest. His task was to teach the young children to shoot and kill each other. I used the words "used to " as he was delivered through the Blood of Jesus and was set free. Effective policing needs to be up to date with all aspects and without taking the spiritual into account I am afraid they will miss the point of the real issue and remain ineffective. That point is that our battle is not against flesh and blood , but against the principalities and powers of darkness. satan has neighbourhoods under siege.
VISION FOR 1999
To set up a C.C. office in every province and region throughout S.A. in order to have Victory in their Neighbourhoods.
To open an office close to Parliament in Cape Town in order to :
Evangelise the Head.( Members of Parliament )
To have a retreat for all Christians in Parliament after the elections in order to build relationships edify them and remind them they have a ministry.
To organise on the 3 April a Family Day in order to celebrate the family in prayer and fellowship and reinforce our Christian Family Values. This will be run in conjunction with the Splash Festival.
ALLOW ME TO END WlTH A THOUGHT :
Since when does anyone's right to live depend upon someone else
wanting them ?
God Bless you,
YOURS IN FAITH, FAMILY AND FREEDOM.
