The hurt of grief is so strong that people who do not have a spiritual background will be drawn to your group as they seek to deal with their loss. You'll have the wonderful opportunity to introduce them to the healing which can only come through our Lord! How GriefShare Works We provide you with materials to offer an ongoing grief recovery program. Your church can offer weekly grief support groups ministering to the long-term needs of people coping with loss. This vital ministry will become an effective outreach to your community, ministering to many who may be dealing with spiritual issues in their own lives as an outgrowth of their loss. You'll receive 13 GriefShare videotapes, one for each support group session. These videos are produced in an interesting television magazine format and feature interviews with leading experts on grief recovery. They also include on-location videos and the real-life stories of people who have experienced the grieving process. Each group participant will receive a special workbook with sections for taking notes, a daily Bible-study and other resources to help them recover from their loss. We also provide you with a special leader-equipping videotape and a Leader's Guide to assist you in equipping a lay ministry team.
