We have had great camps, functions and many other exciting programmes and we are grateful for your support. We are excited to share what is happening at Vital Link at this moment and how we can be of further service to you, your congregation and those in need of ministry. I include a pamphlet that will be distributed throughout Port Elizabeth. In this pamphlet you will see that we have a new and dynamic ministry called “Inn God’s Hands” This ministry was birthed because of the need for people to get away from their circumstances such as those who have just gone through a divorce or other pressures of life that may require ‘time-out’ This is a step away from just drug and alcohol rehabilitation, although we are still available as counselors in this area. “Inn God’s Hands” is a Monday to Friday programme based on the story in the Bible of the Good Samaritan. The wounded man was taken to an Inn for recovery. Vital Link will be that safe place for those in need. We offer to provide accommodation, three meals a day and lots of love and care. A reasonable fee will be charged to cover our expenses. By using our campsite and having functions in our tearoom you also support this vital ministry. VITAL LINK MINISTRIES vision for the year 2000 In 1999 Vital Link worked with SANCA running a structured rehabilition programme dealing with drug and alcohol abuses. This project ended in December, but the work of Vital Link goes on because God still has a plan for us. As we enter the new millennium, we enter a new phase of ministry. Vital Link will still meet the needs of people but on a broader scale than just drug and alcohol abuse. We are excited to introduce this new phase of ministry at Vital Link. “INN GOD’S HANDS Based on the story of the good Samaritan who found an inn to care for the bruised and hurting men It is a getaway for those in need of peace of mind and Christian care. Enjoy the beautiful coastal surroundings as well as God’s wonderful presence to bring healing of spirit, souls and body Meals, accommodation provided at affordable rates Available Monday to Friday only Also recruiting in-depth counseling from outside counselors will continue to do so. We provide a “safe place” to get away from circumstances with good Christian care and encouragement.   Also available at Vital Link as fund-raising enterprises :- “THE HIDING PLACE” Junction Hall Was the Vital Link Tearoom. Now used for functions such as Alpha courses, seminars, wedding receptions, 21st’s. etc Has a magnificent sea view We provide the catering. Menus available for every occasion This is a stunning venue, guaranteed to “wow” everyone who attends your function. CAMPING FACILITIES Available for weekend camps at very reasonable tariffs Can accommodate 30 –40 people in rooms with men and ladies separated. Great for youth camps Facilities include a large hall, equipped kitchen, ablutions spacious grounds and tidal pools across the road.
