DAY OF PRAYER & FASTING 16th February 2002 ADD YOUR NAME to the list of intercessors For those with a heart for the city, groups of Christians from various churches will meet at 7AM ON THE 16TH FEBRUARY for an hour (or more) of prayer AT VARIOUS ENTRANCES OF THE CITY.. A DAY OF FASTING AND PRAYER WILL BE SET ASIDE FOR UNITED PRAYER BY THE CORPORATE BODY. The fast will begin at 6pm on the 15th and conclude at 6pm on the Saturday evening. Matt 12:29 How can one enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man, and then he will plunder his house? Is 40:3-5 Ps 144.1-5 Where there has been SUSTAINED, united fervent, believing prayer by the righteous, it has been known that God has poured out His Presence and transformation has been the result. With the crime rate increasing and the unbelievable rate of increasing unemployment, and resulting despair, many have realised that the only solution is a "God solution", for He has said "It is not by might, nor by power but by My Spirit". The passion and cry in the hearts of His people is to see His Glory come and His Presence fill the city. Is 40: 3-5. Talks of a voice crying in the wilderness.
