We're so excited for our Kids Holiday Club happening in June! The theme is 'DISNEY' and our team can't wait to show you what they've been working on. This holiday club is for all children in grade R to grade 5 and costs R200 for the week per child (including snacks).
DATE: Monday, 24th - Friday, 28th June 2019
TIME: 07h30 (registration) for 08h00 to 13h00 daily
COST: R200 per child for the week
AFTERCARE is available at R20 extra per child per day until 15h00

BLIND DATE VARIETY SHOW

The South African Library for the Blind (SALB) is proud to present this unique and multi-faceted concert as part of its Centenary Celebrations in 2019. The Blind Date Variety Concert is part of the National Arts Festival taking place in Makhanda (Grahamstown) during June/July 2019.  The show features performers who, while not blessed with the gift of sight, have certainly been blessed with talent!
Date/Time: Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 June at 15:00
Venue: National English Literary Museum (NELM), Worcester Street, Grahamstown

Hosted by the warm and entertaining Fiks Mahola (7de Laan's Simphiwe Mashiya), the show features the poetry of Lelethu "Poetic Soul" Mahambehlala and Dr William Rowland (Chairman of the South African Library for the Blind). The musical talents of Singer/ Songwriter Steve Kekana will share the stage with vocalist and guitarist Lois Strachan, singer Melikhaya Hugh, singer and keyboardist Gavin Grundlingh, flute and keyboard siblings PJ and Elna Durr and pianist Michelle Nell. Audiences will be treated to an relaxed afternoon of entertainment by a talented group of artists who "see" the world in a very special way...

FREE2DANCE CREATIVE ARTS DANCE CONFERENCE

Theme: Breaking Down Barriers. Scripture: Micah 2 v 13
Creative Arts Conference is a yearly event whereby dancers from different denominations are under one roof to lift up His name through dance. F2D is hosting 10 teachers and 100 - 120 delegates, altogether 20 different genres will be trained from Wednesday to Saturday, everyday 08:30 until 5pm. Each dancer will learn 4 new dance skills within 4 days.
Venue:  Dower College (West End)
Time:  08:30am - 5pm from Tuesday to Saturday (18th - 22nd June 2019)
