BACKGROUND
We are a subsidiary of RUCC Ministries, the home of a unique multi-faceted ministry organisation with headquarters in Mthatha, and over 20 branches of satellite churches across the Eastern and Western Cape provinces. RUCC Ministries is an affiliate member of the International Federation of Christian Churches, under the umbrella of Rhema Family Churches, the board of which our Senior Pastor (Don Phillips) is a member.
Here In Port Elizabeth, after it was successfully planted in 2008, the church is under the Pastoral leadership of Pastors Lingelihle Z. Jadezweni (Pastor Jay) together with his only wife of 19 years, Pastor Hlubikazi Jadezweni. The church currently boasts a membership of over 600 congregants, with two services running every Sunday morning and holds regular intercessory prayer meeting every Wednesday afternoons. We have a robust and effective Training, bible study, fellowship and mentoring programme aimed at equipping believers and encouraging members to embody the character of Jesus Christ, our LORD.
VISION
RUCC Ministries has a clear mandate to plant and build churches that will serve, penetrate and impact the communities in which we are located.
MISSION
We seek to raise people to be spiritually sound, morally upright and socially relevant, thus bringing transformation and a sense of purpose to the lives of our communities using the word of God as our blueprint.
OUR MANDATE IS TO:
- Preach the gospel of Christ and see as many people saved in as many places as possible all over Nelson Mandela Bay.
- Disciple those who get saved and develop them into productive members of the community by creating an intentional community of believers who are growing in every facet of existence (physically, mentally, socially emotionally and spiritually) and embrace the ministry ethos and culture of excellence.
- Participate actively within the communities we operate to bring meaningful and sustainable socio economic development and physical upliftment into the lives of the citizenry
